For some, wrapping gifts could be difficult. When you see them on the wrapping gift store, they look cute and doable. But when you try it yourself at home, meh, it doesn’t quite exactly like you've imagined. Don't worry, I’ve got some tutorial to follow!
Well hold your horses, these are some tutorial for the basics of wrapping gift. If you can master the basics, no one can stop you from getting creative. Waste no tapes and maximize the use of those wrappers.
1. Basics of the basics
These are the basic wrapping steps of a square shaped gift. Pay attention to the sides, its folded inwards so they hold themselves from unwrapping. You can just use a little bit of tape on the last sides where nothing else could hold them.

In wrapping those square gifts, you can also add some pleating. Inspired by Japan's technique in wrapping gifts, odd number pleats are used for happy occasions while even number pleats are the other way around.

To do so, you just make some pleats before you start wrapping your gift.

Make some pleats according to your liking.

Secure them with some tape.

Then start wrapping your gift, just like the basics.

Add a ribbon (or not) and you're all set!

2. No square gift? Easy
Make this easy bags from wrapping papers. If your gift had an odd shape, just measure the size and make a bag big enough for your gift! Its easier to do, plus, they wouldn’t know what’s inside!

3. Add decorations
Simply add some small decorations for your gift. It doesn’t have to be too big. Just a cute ribbon on the corner is enough. Sometimes, less is more!

Or, if making those ribbons aren't your thing, just grab a pen and start drawing!

Those are some basic steps in wrapping your gift. With a little bit of exercise, wrapping gifts wouldn't be a problem anymore. In fact, it could be somehow satisfying. Well keep working, 'cause practice makes perfect!
I'll just let myself out while you try to figure those wraps out.
Cheers!
