I actually agree that "merit" in mostly an illusion here that makes people feel disappointed.
...as it always will make people feel like this ( people with an ethical code) . It will stop/severely impede, the growth of this place. (as a social media platform).
....Which brings it back to my whining several months ago and why steem will be passed by platforms who do have 'merit' written into the system ( how ? I don't know.... gimme a break)
Because some book you read told you what ethics are. Understood.
I've worked for publically traded companies where the Executives were doing blow and doing shots off my Assistant's belly. Did I like them... No, I did not.
Did they fail, no they did not. Did I manage to do my job ethically, yes I did.
You lose all my patience when you accuse me of being unethical by default. I don't care what your book says, I feel fine about how I conduct myself. :)
You just remind me of my Catholic Grandma and your Grandpa.... (said to poke you)
It's going to fail... Yep, and so with pretty much every corporation and government ever known to man, so where am I supposed to work?
I never said this!!!!!!!!!!!!
You are putting words in my mouth!
(I've also been in the 'blow world' and lines off hookers - blah blah...and I also lived by ethical code - I'm along way from being an angel)
Haha, you are right, you didn't say that. I got defensive, because suddenly after nearly 3 years of labor I start to see some success and suddenly now I am a cirlce jerker who isn't allowed to see any success after making 1k Steem my first YEAR. :)
You are right I was projecting.
