that wierd, i replied back to you and got a series of "broadcast error"'s even a curious "account doesn't exist" error
then i thought it went thru
then i realized it hadn't

seems like it works fine for a bit then BAM slowness
perhaps just one or two witnesses are having problems, and when its their turn to be block producers they just hang

update: looks like smartmarket is starting to wake up and vote, which will come as a relief to many others like myself!!
I got the account doesn't exist error also. I found a post that is about using Steemitstage, by logging in using your posting key. It's on a separate line from the network so it's faster when it gets like this. I am logged into it now, for a test to see if there's improvement.
Update - it does seem to be much more normal on Steemitstage.
