I went and voted for STEEM but is it any concern that the website associated with the vote states https://steem.com ? Just curious. I think it would be very valuable to the token to be able to spend it at retail locations! I'll be sharing this out on my social media channels as well.

I think https://steem.com is fine, as that is the currency we're promoting.
Please do spread the news, thanks for taking it outside Steemit also! Both here and abroad, every vote counts! And anyone with an email address can vote!
