Hello Steemjetters from around the world, i bring to you a good news about a project that will help to make our goal flourish.

STEEMJET CAMPUS BUSTERS

Who are we and what are we doing?

I introduce to you SteemJet Campus Busters, we are a team of 3 delegates of the SteemJet Spaceforce members, and we storm University campuses around the world with the message of steem, creating awareness while teaching the benefits of steem and BTC.

At Steemjet, our ultimate vision is global steem adoption of true blockchains BTC and STEEM.

"Promoting steem may seem impossible but anything can be made possible if you work harder. Celebrities use their star power to influence a lot of things in the world but none of those celebrities can be found on steemit. That is the reason why steemjet is flying around the world to hunt talents and empower them to become celebrities that will be present on the steem blockchain and maybe one day their star power can shine more to influence their fans/followers to love and adopt steem." source

Why are we doing this?

As students in universities, there is a common hardship of surviving, especially at universities where there are limited or no jobs for support. There are a ton of them in every part of the world. Students often have to live off menial jobs to sustain themselves while studying, some students have to get themselves involved in dirty businesses just to have bread on their table or a place to lay their heads till morning. How can a hungry student assimilate?

Some even drop out due to inability to acquire study materials and feed, house and transport themselves. This in turn demoralises our community, which poses a life threats on our youths and superstars.

When we were in university, we thought life was as simple as scaling through school and getting a good degree then getting a fine job. However the economic system in the recent times has not been favourable to everyone, and dreams have been turned to ashes, but do you know who is suffering from this the most? Our tomorrow's leaders our today's superstars.

Steem is about freedom, Steem is about decentralization, Steem is financial liberation, Steem has helped people to build their dreams, Steem has made possible the connection of globalization in a decentralized economy where human beings are rewarded for being socially active and engaging meaningfully with other users

Steemjet is a community driven with a goal to ensure global adoption of Steem, and raising of superstars in everybody. We superstars at steemjet are driven with the goal to make sure that the cryptocurrency Steem is being heard of, understood and adopted everywhere we are, and to help broke people become superstars.

Hence, the project SteemJet Campus Buster's was developed to take the gospel of Steem around campuses in the world, creating awareness for Steem, promoting SteemJet and Steemit, to liberate students off financial limitations, giving them the opportunity to begin to invest pro actively in their future, while giving themselves the chance to live their dreams and enable them to be the future leaders they deserve, their true superstars.

How are we doing this?

We begin with the locations we have around us, from South Western parts of Nigeria, till we touch down all universities in every state in Nigeria, then other parts of the world.

We have taken the first action by going for our first Steemjet campus buster's event at the Babcock University in Nigeria, Ilisan-remo, Ogun State. Babcock University is a private Christian co-educational Nigerian university owned and operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Nigeria with a population of over 15,000 students.

We were able to talk to the graduating students who have no idea of what to do after university or where to start their life from in the midst of all the economic crisis/ hardship in the society.
Of course, we didn't leave out the extremely enthusiastic first year students who wanted to jump in Steem immediately.

We went around all the locations in the campus where there were real people, telling them about the possibilities of Steem, of course our steemjet prototype was flying high and making all the waves.

It appeared that a lot of students were intrigued about the innovation, realising that they could benefit from the opportunity of embracing the blockchain technology and make a better living for themselves, apparently they had very or no knowledge of cryptocurrency, which we also gave them insight into

What we hope to achieve

As members and delegates of steemJet space force, we are driven with one common goal, to ensure global Steem adoption

In the pursuit of the realization of this goal, we have come together as one, to empower students around campuses with the knowledge of Steem, highlighting the opportunities that lies within it, with the support of the amazing community Steemjet space force as a system to learn about the true powerful blockchain technology of Steem and BTC

We hope to bring 20,000 users to steemjet community before the end of the year 2018

we will ensure we leave our mark/steem everywhere we are

Limitations

when life gives you lemons, make lemonade

We didn't have enough funds to print out good quality souvenirs
‎We didn't have a good camera to take better shots and videos, pictures they say is worth more than a thousand words
Our movements were restricted because of cost of transportation.

The Plan

As I've mentioned earlier, we plan to go to all the campuses in the world starting from South-Western part of Nigeria, enlightening people about Steem and steemjet. Creating a buzz on the offline and bringing them the realization of a place where they can live their dreams and become superstars. For the rest of the year, we will be visiting 10 universities, and they are listed below

‎Refreshment........................30x10 Steem
Miscellaneous.......................100 steem
‎ Total.......................................2100 Steem
(X10 is for the 10 locations on the schedule)

this is a tentative budget

I’m glad to be part of the space force, part of the Project #steemjetcampusbusters. As members of the space force , myself @olumideolowoyeye , @mistakili and @tomilolafadipe had took the task of going from higher institutions of learning across the south western part of the country Nigeria. This is a passion we have for our work as Space force members. We hope we have all the necessary support by @dimmip to carry on this wonderful project. This is just the beginning
