In general voting bots are abused to easily and are not good but recently they have been more strict with the content they allow which is an improvement. It also provided whales with an income not from self voting helping the platform. Other bots not for profit/promotion tend to be positive bots like steam bounty. But then there is the selfvoting bots and harassment downvote bots. There here to stay, like it or not, I think they are in general good.
