So, I thought I would share my experience exchanging some SBD for litecoin...
I was a bit nervous at first as I always am when doing anything new involving something of value...
So I sent $10 Steem dollars to block trades with the address it provided me in the memo.
It picked it up and transferred .29 litecoin to my litecoin address...
Pretty stoked! I guess I popped my crypto cherry :P haha
Was pretty painless and I've been itching to get some litecoin and such as I really wanna trade some litecoin now for some feathercoin and bytecoin.
I think they are about to go up....
Exchanging steem right now for litecoin seems really smart btw... Steem is at an all time high! 700% from last week... and litecoin is in a temporary slump from it's peak the other week. Steem is bound for a temporary dip and then a sharp rise, while litecoin is due for another rise, and rise, imo.... So! Spread your eggs around a bit, is my advice! Buy some litecoin, get some feathercoin, bytecoin, and maybe dabble in a few risky ones that are cheap... If they go bust you don't lose much, if they get legit you make a lot! theoretically :)
The image below is literally all there is to it!!! Just set it to litecoin instead of bitcoin, authenticate your litecoin address, and then send whatever amount of SBD or steem you want from your steem wallet to the @blocktrades using the pull down menu in your wallet and select transfer! Put in the desired amount (the amount you put in on blocktrades doesn't matter, just remember the fee is taken out of that as well) and then hit send and put in your password and authenticate and your done!!! Wait a bit and check your litecoin wallet!
PAINLESS!!! And it made me realize just how powerful this stuff is gonna be!!! But get in on a bunch of em is my advice again! There is 1300! And guess what!!! I bet all 1300 of them eventually end up being worth quite a bit! Even the scam ones! Because after the scammers pull out there cash the systems are still left with a bunch of investors that have legit coins and a software system that can keep running in theory without the authors/scammers. So in theory, even a worthless coin made by a scammer can regain value after collapsing! JUST WATCH AND SEE!!!! Especially systems like my multi chain come along and assimilate them... :)
I dunno for sure if I did good with my exchange tonight... But I feel like I did???
Now if someone can tell me the best way to exchange my litecoin for feathercoins or bytecoins....and a bit about it :P

I thought I would also chime in that I chose litecoin because both Ethereum and Bitcoin are under TREMENDOUS load right now and transaction fees are through the roof! not worth exchanging small amounts atm...
