RE: It's time to start paying attention to Steem

in #steem6 years ago (edited)

Even though each user's stake is theirs to use however they choose, the feeling of unfairness that has arisen due to the inequality of stake among the users has harmed the user experience and perception of the platform.

Making @Steemit more fair

Problem

Keeping posts visible

Cause

Heavy stake weighted flags can make a post invisible.

Consequences

While on Steemit beauty is in the eye of the beholder, the result of flags making posts invisible results in:
  • A shoddy UX.

          Experienced Steemians may attempt
to "reveal" a post for themselves.

However, will someone finding the same
post shared on Twitter, Facebook or
          hyperlinked through another post or
article, attempt to "reveal" the post or
          skip revealing the article?

  • Would search engines like "almost dead" links?

Suggested Solution

Do not allow flags to make a post invisible.
Sort:

Making posts invisible is one of the main features of flags. When a user posts a malicious link or spam, hiding the post/comment is the intent.
