The search works pretty well for that for me.

That's a nice idea. Shouldn't be too difficult I hope, and makes a lot of sense for videos and external links.
//edit: now that I think about it, no idea if Steemit has a backend to store that stuff and get it quickly. May not be as easy as expected.
