Although I do agree technically, there is still the issue of all altcoins (I really don't like that term) being pegged to the BTC.
In my opinion, there needs to be a stable coin that all exchanges use as the main trading pair. If this were to happen we could stop even caring about the price of Bitcoin. Then finally the true power of projects like Steem could show their true value.
SBD would fit the bill nicely :)
Hehe.. Yeah, that would be nice. But to be honest SBD jumps around a bit more than I'd like!
