I worked for a SndBox post today: my task was to select some Steemian artists I like and to talk about their Art and endorse them. The selection has been hard: there are so many great artists around here! Since the beginning of my blogging on Steem, I found a great Art community and worked to develope it.
In the first months I managed an Art Contest for Art-Trail. Later I did the same on my own, linking the contest to my website to sell and buy Art (Steemarket). But I'm not going to talk about that.
What I want to say is that, even if I know a lot of artists on Steem, it was still very hard to find their posts today when I had to work on my curation post.
Shortly: how long it will take before we can have on Steemit (or in the other Steem interfaces(*)) a feature to create lists of users, subcommunities, saved posts, bookmarks and so on?
Ok, I know that the subcommunity feature will be connected to the Smart Media Token launch, so I guess we won't see it soon. But I remember also that the Steemit Marketing Team, in its first days, wrote:

Ok, it was almost a year ago. Things change, roadmaps included.
The 2018 Roadmap for Steem, as far as I know, is not officially released, even if next hardfork (Velocity) and the SMT protocol are probably the priority and every effort is about that. Steemit Inc. posted a week ago about the progress in the SMT token protocol, but no launch date is scheduled.
I think the Community feature is an important upgrade we miss, and it shouldn't necessarely be bond to the SMT launch.
((*) Honestly I didn't check if any other Steem interface has the features I miss.)
How i wish the possibilty to create lists! And see the feeds for every list would be awesome!
Really the developments here are very slow. Nearly two years are going since launch, but still we are missing some of the basic features here.
This steemit beta version got a few features complicated, i can't find hot, new or trending. I can hardly understand a thing at this point cos all i see on my feeds are trending posts only.

try busy.org it is a different portal into the steem blockchain. I use it anytime I am having issues with the main site.
Busy.org does have a useful and simple bookmarking option, but other than that the other features aren’t found anywhere I know of quite yet.

What about proposing this as a feature for busy.org and have people post up rewards bounty to get someone to build it. Could make a suggestion on the utopian.io page with the proposal and use the community to build what we want instead of waiting for the Steemit inc guys to focus on it.
On a note of the @ned team it seams that with the amount of steem they hold they could put up a set of most popular upgrades and take and make a bounty to pay for the development of it. Just seems to me that we have the ability to fund stuff and there is a world of developers needing to work on stuff.... lets put the two together and just make it happen.
I seems to me that you could build a list button that held a group of names with out a ton of work.... I am not a programmer so just my two steem cents.

I completely agree, you have made your point really well here. Just to emphasise the point, we need a better way of searching and browsing content on steemit.

in fact, we have the mobile phone application @esteem but Some work should be done on this app to make it better.

I´d also like to see more options to organize links, people by themes or somehing like that. Tags are ok, but they´re a bit limited in my opinion. Let´s see where this fantastic community goes in the future! :)
that's rightly said even we have everything on blockchain there is no better way of finding it
well many new things has happened but seems like with time they nearly forget it
road maps change very frequently here quite surprised that they didn't worked on that
they should work on this segment for sure hopefully the team will take feedback
SMT launching along will be the push forever it is going to change the communities along
