When you say Over $1.2 million US dollar worth of STEEM was withdrawn from Poloniex yesterday is that good or bad for steemit?
Is it withdrawn from Poloniex and transferred away into Bitcoin or other crytpos, or is it transferred from Poloniex into steemit?
Presumably the former is bad and the latter is good?

It is very good, because Poloniex held that Steem hostage. Some of it is going to be used to power up, some of it will be sold. It is a very good thing. I don't think Poloniex will see much incoming Steem in the next few weeks though.
Very glad this problem is solved. It can only benefit the Steemit community!
Transferred to Steem accounts. I think there are several arguments you could make for it being a good thing, yes.
