It is not about standards. I am damn sure that I'm not good at writing. Even my knowledge in English is not upto the mark. Yet, I try to creat contents which are my own. The post you had raised to trending page was pure plagiarizm and you got caught.
I know very well the strain one has to undergo to create own content. For example, this post of mine which I wrote a couple of months back, though look trivial, took me more than 15 hours to complete!
When people put that much of efforts to create something, you the people simply copy/paste and earn a lot of money out of it that the poor original author failed to do!
Whoever or whatever you may be, even if you adorn the position of president of India, you don't deserve anything other than downvotes if you steal others hard work. I am with @buildawhale in this!
