RE: RC Attack Mode: Activated!

I’m really not following you. As of a few minutes ago, the total supply of Hive (including HBD that could be converted into Hive) is 379,533,251. Less than half of which is powered up. But I own 32k HP so a bit less than 1/12,000th of all Hive in existence. Even if whales marketed all of their RCs, there couldn’t possibly be more than 12,000 active accounts utilizing more RCs than I could muster.

But in any plausible Hive to the moon scenario, there’d have to be a lot more than 12,000 active accounts.

Yes, people like you and I are totally in the clear. However, imagine if Hive was like $100 a coin and RC costs started spiking up. How much money would it cost to own an account that has the ability to transact using its own RCs? $5000? $50000? I'm telling you shit is going to get crazy in 2021.

You and I are top 1 percenters for sure, it just doesn't feel that way yet because of the heinous bear market we've been enduring for 2.5 years. We are going to be those people that everyone complains about ten years down the line (probably much sooner even). "Oh, it's not fair that you got in so early..." lol

In this scenario millions of people are on Hive and we've invented one or more innovative "killer dapps".
The new focus won't be on blogging, it will be on an invention that doesn't exist yet.

There's also the issue of spending RCs to make other digital assets that have even more value than the RCs spent... so in this context maybe it's not a big deal because mitigating the cost of RCs will be pretty easy to do.
