You win that bet. steemdb.com’s richlist tracks 965,000-some accounts. The 96,500th largest account owns (as opposed to is delegated) 12 SP. Not a typo, 12.

Out of curiosity, what is 5% and 1%?
40 Steem to be in the top 5%, 502 SP to be in the top 1%.
Seems a bit amazing but it shows just how important it is to be an active account.
