I can honestly say that I am active in steemit and did write 2 posts today, good for a whopping payout of €0.28!
Well I think I need some time to reach 500 sp but I think steemit if I think it's fantastic but today I don't get much for my articles, I've learned a lot and also met many people who have become friends! it's already profit
I must say I love the optimism. Much better than the STEEM is a scam, a ponzi scheme, and the other crap we read.
That said, I would say the post is a bit overzealous especially with STEEM and SBD so far down in price. When the SBD were at $8...then maybe. But now that it is falling back in line, the payouts are not what they were.
Plus 10 quality posts a day is a lot...it can be done if they are short, but that is a tough number to get ot.
Plus to get ones followers to upvote that many times a day is going to kill all their votes...they will drop you from their autovoters quickly.
that is so much exxagerating it seems. but all of the ads for new member to join is always good isn't it?
I imagine if a famous person got on Steemit ppl would upvote the heck out of things and THEY could make a hundred bucks a day
