Bid bots distort the distribution of rewards and reduces the amount of RC available for users. They increase the wealth inequality and makes Steem Power delegation more expensive. I think they have more disadvantages than advantages, so I encourage every body not to use them.
The only vote bot I use is @schoolofminnows, that upvotes other members and only when voting power is at 100%.
