That is correct and if you read the post more carefully maybe you will realize I didn't make a mistake :D

The only thing about it is that 18% annually with interest compounded on a daily basis turns out to be somewhere in the range of 19-20% APR.

2% is just the reward we get for hodling SP.

yes, but when you delegate your SP, then you are loosing the fun to upvote. So you need 2 accounts, one to save and one to play. :)
