The smartest teacher in the world can teach the stupidest people in the world quantum physics, but only very slowly and painfully. If he/she teaches them gardening however, they will likely learn very quickly. Leadership and teaching depend on the level of the students as much as the teacher. If the group does not learn quickly despite your best methods, either your methodology is flawed, or you are teaching the group something they are not ready for. And this is contingent on the assumption that they actually want to learn anything at all, of course. From my impression of your posts, there are plenty of experiments out there that could benefit from the input of a mind such as yours. Or you could even start your own... 😉
