Everyone is optimistic about the future of steem value, so I am. I joined the steem blockchain late January, 2018, when steem was on $4, quite encouraging though, I get rewards more from commenting and a few cents from my posts, just like what any other newbie on the platform would have to experience. The experience wasn't encouraging at first, but it was only for while, for a stretch of four(4) months thereabout. Not until #steemjet came into scene, which was initiated by @deandaniel, powered and sponsored by @dimimp.
Through #steemjet, @dimimp organised series of contests even till date, with @dimimp, virtually everyone who submits an entry is a winner. At the end of #steemjet's slogan contest, I got a steem bath of 150 steems.
From the steem prize, I started an investment of $142 worth of Nigerian Naira with a crypto firm that pays 20% interest on my investment every 30 days.
After about a month I lot my mother in death after a long time illness, @dimimp got to know about it, again funded my wallet with 200 steems as a means of support. By extension, I managed to add another $142 to the existing investment, making it a total of $284.
Automatically, the interest rate became 40% of the capital.
I seized this medium to express my profound gratitude to @dimimp for his kind heart, he's such a rare gem.
HOW I INITIALLY GOT INSPIRED TO INVEST
@surpassinggoogle's post of about twenty(20) days still stands as a motivating force propelling me to want to invest in steems. Read post here.
In it, he explained why he thinks now is the best time to invest into steem. The present value of steem related with steem's past makes it very profitable to want to invest now, as it has future potentials of bullish change. The title of the post is written this way- One thing about steem past that will help you understand steem's present.

For a fact, I have now decided to withdraw my $284 savings, after which, I'll now invest in steem. From my calculations, $284 will fund me about 300 steems in my wallet anytime soon.
While I wait to see what happens to steem soon, I will invest the steems into one of these banks on the steem blockchain that pays a certain interest rate on the value of steems you deposit on either weekly or monthly plan. As anticipated I should get 15% of my deposit at the end of thirty(30) days.
IN CONCLUSION
I remain optimistic about the future of steem, perhaps, it will experience a bullish change as it did the previous year.
