Steemit is validated by your social standing and past performance as an author and curator, which, in turn, ensures that a user will continue to grow and contribute in significant and positive ways. As a community, this is why we will always have better content than Facebook, Twitter, (the dying) Reddit ;), Instagram, or any other platform which puts socializing as the primary purpose without any focus on the depth of the content.
