How is it decided which address is added to search engines when posting on Steem? Is it random?

in #steem5 years ago

I am writing this post using Steempeak after having it recommended, and it sure looks much nicer than writing them on Steemit. These are both different engines running on Steem and publishing content to the Steem blockchain. But, after publishing posts, is it just random luck and the battle of domain authority that decides which actual address is indexed on Google and by Bing, or is there some sort of system to this? For example, I published a movie review a month ago about I Can Only Imagine. It can currently be read at the following addresses (among others):

So, which of these addresses is Google most likely to index? Is there any system, or as I mentioned, just random? I guess Steemit has the best domain ranking, meaning that it might be likely that Google will discover the content on Steemit before it indexes it elsewhere... And maybe that is why Steemit will show up most frequently in search results?

I would love to hear thoughts from some of those with even more insights, based on SEO, Steem knowledge, or whatever it might be!

Wow, thanks :) If this comes as a consequence of the HF21 fork, I have got to say that it is very nice :)

You can also do a seo audit for steemit.com and see where it lacks. Use the right keyword and you'll appear on the search. Keyword targeting and the title's keyword gives an seo boost.

Not exactly what I thought about with my question, but it is very sure that using the right keywords, and also the chance you get at Steempeak to set your own permalink will help a lot to the SEO!

Ofcourse it will.
