Now is always the best time to absorb a lot of talent in terms of content creators and also tech savvy people who can bring in some interesting ideas moving forward.
I am looking forward to SMT taking off and the 1,000,000 account level is about to be hit any day/week now... fingers crossed, I have a lot (relatively) riding on steemit's success.

It's good progress for something only a couple of years old, but I'm willing to bet less than 50% of those are real people, the rest are bots. We should really be looking at daily active users which unfortunately is down in the 60K range - not adjusted for #bots or users with multiple accounts. Now if that was 1M a day we'd be talking...
