The Idea:
Ok, so this particular Steemit blog is going to be designed around getting the funding necessary to pay for programmers/designers to help build the tools necessary to keep the Steemit eco-system going. I got tired of wanting certain things on Steemit so why not see if others want it also? We have the talent here in front of us.
Each project will be funded by me personally to start ( via SBD dollars – no set amount yet) and if the community wants to help see a particular feature made they upvote accordingly to help fund it. It can be from everything from little projects to bigger projects ( probably will start off with minnow projects). Think of it like a freelance marketplace.
Programmers and Designers:
They can post they want to work on the project and we can sort it out from there. I think this will be the overall place where all bounties will go and then broken off into their very own pages dedicated to the project itself. In other words, this will be the mothership for projects.
Project #1: The SteemIt BookMarklet
Nothing, to fancy here. Your standard "save to read later" . I'm finding myself wanting to read a ton of articles for later from SteemIt users. Like it dedicated to SteemIt if possible in terms of layout , brand etc.,etc.Another potential project would be a "SteemIt Scheduler". Allowing people to schedule their posts at certain days and times.
I'll start here with one project and we'll build from there.

i think the steemit it would be good if it was bottom left... and the get ready to steem in the light beam or in the smoke hehe
and i love the part of the steemit scheduler but than again people will just use it and no body would upvote your post.... if everyone is doing it :D
When you say Bottom left you mean in the tray ?
edit: Yes, a steemit scheduler is needed. Well people would schedule for different times of the day. Upvotes would still happen.
Interesting initiative..! Glad to see more folks hopping into the community looking to help it rather than just make some fast cash and bugger off.

Thanks klye! Trying to help the community. I'm sure there are plenty of other people who have needs and would love to seem them done. Sort of a wish list. Plus, we have tons of talent right in front of us we should be leveraging it.

I'm glad I'm not the only one haha... . It has been annoying me since I've joined Steemit. I would love to have a way to capture the past articles to one page and even have a search function like you mentioned. Do you want anything else for Steemit?
I think that a way to view images and videos by opening an inline expander would be a great addition to the efficiency of image and video based content, like #photography, instead of having to open the entire post in a new tab every time.
I agree @dahaz159 a inline system would be great.
