A Dose Of Common Sense For OG Leadership To Consider For Our Current Situation

  • This is chess, not war. We can prevail by PROACTIVELY outsmarting, not REACTIVELY recycling combative/dramatic posts or commentary amongst ourselves. Community leadership has already been fooled enough (or was apathetic) about the ninja-mined stake that caused this in the first place. We need to think two steps ahead now, or it's game over.

  • The world's eyes don't visit Steemit.com or Steem apps. Focus on exposing and proving the truth on mainstream social media platforms, NOT here. We're getting press and need to leverage the attention while we can to protect ourselves. There are too many cooks in the kitchen spending time and energy within the Steem community. Use the present spotlight wisely as it's our golden opportunity.

  • Restoring witnesses is vital for the short-term, but expect the other side to rebound in full force once our SP is exhausted. What's the next step WHEN they do?

  • Sunk cost fallacy. Do NOT make emotional financial decisions that may risk your investment or cost you dearly if it backfires. Do NOT throw good new money at bad. We've seen that exchanges can be in cahoots here, and this means that Steem CAN be delisted.

  • Mass blasting our game plan on Steem shows our cards to the other side now owning its main app so they can easily counter. It’s great to see witnesses actively engaging in the public eye again, but ironically now we may benefit from the opposite. Make your vent post/rally cry/capitalization effort on Steem's chain, and then get to work on helping our cause off of the chain where it matters most.

  • Reputation/ego is everything to some, and what "certain people" are likely most concerned with protecting. Expect irrational, selfish and dishonest behavior to cover up egregious actions. We are social media experts and have the tools, multi-lingual skills, and intelligence to fight the good fight effectively on their turf, and far beyond.

  • Our beloved OG Steemit, Inc. members (minus the one primarily responsible for this collapse) have understandably resigned or parted ways. Steem will no longer be on the same path we're used to. Hopefully those great people can stay involved, but don't blame them in any way for not. They've gone through a lot of toxicity for a long time and deserve some peace.

  • We've come together to "survive" here. As lousy as this situation is, this is where we will show how special, strong and talented the community truly is. This goes far beyond Steem Power. Take advantage of the tribes uniting, differences aside. Leverage this massive progress while we still can. We're known for our social media, so let's show "social media" what they've overlooked for 4 years to protect our house. Post quality content all over to reach the masses that have always eluded us and expose the wrongdoing here.

Good Always Prevails.

I honestly do not enjoy this politics shit man!
And don't even know who to vote to. I just know a few good ones.
Too stupid to understand to be honest.

The Steem blockchain is currently being attacked by a central authority in order to take control of the witnesses. If you are not managing your witness votes, please consider setting @berniesanders as your witness voting proxy by clicking here to help restore the decentralization of Steem.
