Hello, Steemians!
Every day we work hard to make Steepshot platform cooler. We wish to make it the place you want to visit again & again. The main goal now for us is to reduce appearing bugs that sometimes take place and find and implement the features you are all want to see on Steepshot.
Today we want to introduce to you our new updates for the Web version. Go ahead and find features that will not leave you indifferent.
Promote button
Post promotion is essential if you want more people to see your post. Now you are able to do it right in the Steepshot Web version. To do it you need to click on the post you have created and you will find the button “Promote”. Choose necessary tokens, the suitable amount and click “Find Promoter”. Then you will see the most appropriate bot for you. All you need now is just press “Promote”.
- Mind that you can promote only those posts that are no more than 4 days old.
Wallet
When you go to your wallet you see things like you used to observe in Steemit wallet: STEEM, STEEM POWER, STEEM DOLLARS. But of course, there are some differences. We want the design looks appealing to your eyes, so have added some colors, that hope you will appreciate.
- The first button STEEM.
Here you can transfer STEEM or SBD to any Steemit account you want to. Just put in the username in the field “TO”, choose the necessary token, amount, add memo if you need and finally click “SEND”.
- The second one - STEEM POWER.
Here you can power up or power down.
If you have STEEM tokens, you can power up to Steem Power to get more voting influence on posts and comments. Or you can power down to turn it into liquid STEEM over a period of time. The system will transfer 1/13 of your Steem Power to STEEM each week for about three months (13 weeks), starting 1 week from the time it is started.
- The third -STEEM DOLLARS.
Here you can do the same actions as with STEEM.
Transaction history
Now you have an opportunity to be up-to-date with your history of transactions without leaving the Steepshot. All of your transfers, author, curation rewards could be found here. The information here is collected from the moment your account was created. If you need a fast search you can sort out within TRANSFERS and REWARDS by clicking such a tool 
behind the Transaction history.

How cool would it be if "promote your post" would also promote in a seperate own tab inside the app? Or maybe as a top bar / or in between regular posts? IAW advertise posts inside everyone's newsfeeds on the Steepshot app specifically - idk by sending X amount of money to @steepshot-promotions or whatever account

Any update when HD photo support will come? Since the photo quality seems to be Instagram 2012 at the moment.
This is zoomed in on one of my Steepshot photos. It looks horrible in quality.
Hey, you know that Instagram photo resolution is lower than ours.
If you will zoom the photo on Instagram, it will also look not so high-quality.
We have borders 1200х1200 and think it's quite enough.
You are wrong. The left here is Steepshot and the right is Instagram quality. The difference is massive!

Every day, you really make the @Steepshot platform better, no doubt about that!! I'm thrilled to see that the downtime is almost gone, in the beginning it really wasn't so...At some point, I considered to stop using the platform, mainly because of downtime...Don't know if this was a global issue, but I had some trouble...but not for quite some time now..🙂

I have been using Steepshot on the iPhone but it keeps crashing when I try to add the tags but I didn't even realise there was a web version!! :-)
This is great as I have to keep transferring my pictures from my laptop to my phone!

Hello, thank you for your comment. All iOS bugs will be fixed in the next release. Now iOS Steepshot app with the latest features is still under review in the App Store.

Great update! The promote button is dope!
Love this dapp. The only thing I can think of for improvement might be a scrolling display of photos of a featured photographer for the day in the layout. Or maybe, scroll the hot photos. Or, some combination of the two. A few tweaks to the way photos are presented and this dapp is perfect! Even still, you guys are doing an amazing thing here!

Big updation. I am waiting this updation. Every users very happy for this big news.
So i am requesting a bug fix here.
The webversion doesn't support using tags with "-" such as "pc-nature","pc-people"etc. Can you please check this out and add this as a bug fix?

How long is it meant to take to sync with steemit ? I posted a photo and 1 hour later its still not on steepshot but it was on steemit straight away ?
Excellent round of updates. When I first saw a promote feature mentioned, I’ll admit I was hoping it utilized the blockchain level promotion feature. That would absolutely be my preference over routing to privately owned bid bots.

Suggestion. When you log in it should say "Private Posting Key" rather than "Posting Key" as I have seen a lot of users get confused about this on other services. Maybe even include a link to a tutorial showing how to get the private posting key from Steemit?
