There's a poll over on Hackernoon for the best social network as part of their Noonies awards. Steemit is currently at the top, but there are 23 days to go and only about 1000 votes cast, so it could easily change.
Of course these things get gamed, but any extra publicity for this platform could help. It should really be Steem rather than Steemit, but it's better than nothing. I've not even heard of some of the other nominations such as Cake and gab. Surprised Minds is not on there. If Facebook, Twitter or YouTube have a push on voting then we have little chance, so let's make the most be being top for now.

I think we have a real shot. Hackernoon isn't very well known in the mainstream. Their average visitor probably deleted their traditional social network accounts out of privacy concerns.

I think every steemitmembers should visit this Poll Page and vote for steemit. Many are sharing apprehension which may be or may not be fact that steemitis losing its steem. Let us get back to the old selves.

I remember some of the other polls like this that I have participated in where suddenly out of nowhere some random never been heard of token comes to the top and just sits there. It would be pretty sad if that happened this time. Hopefully people get out and vote for STEEM.
It depends on what support people on each platform can drum up. There are Facebook groups bigger that the active users of Steem, so it could be David vs Goliath. Let's enjoy leading whilst we can.

It's going to be a scorcher. I'm stuck inside, but then it's cool in here.
We jumped to the top very fast. It's easy at the moment but im not sure how popular this site is.
There are bigger platforms that could easily overtake. These things can get gamed anyway
