Harsh economics have taken a toll on Steemit Inc and others, such as witnesses, are struggling too. Don't users despair at the low Steem price, but many of us see a thriving community that still has great potential. It's only really suffering bec general confidence in crypto is low. It's up to us to bring in people who can help build the community. We need developers who will build exciting new dapps. There are massive opportunities as Steem can do things that other platforms cannot. It offers freedom, but also freedom to fail. How much do we want it to succeed?
My confidence was boosted at Steemfest. There was very little talk of the steem price there.
