Firstly, what I learned by running this competition is that some people are really bad at scamming and others are much better, or at least more willing to explore their inner scammer. I like that. To catch a psychopath, think like a psychopath.
Possible Prizes were:
- 1000 STEEM POWER delegated for 4 weeks
- A fresh account with 1000 STEEM POWER delegated for 4 weeks
- Me begging some random people to upvote some of your posts
- 8 x 100% votes over the next 4 weeks at whatever power I happen to have at the time
- A signed picture of my smiling face (or anyone else's face which I will sign with my name)
- Nothing at all (very, very possible)
I am not going to do any of that!
But, I am also not in the scamming business so...

I know it isn't a great deal for anyone but it is ~15% of my own Steem power which means ~30% is now delegated out to people. Even though it is a small delegation I figure you may each be able to use it in different ways to increase your account visibility and value. And I really do mean it, I want you to increase your accounts by at least a few STEEM POWER.
The reason is because I believe that there is a lot of future value to come for Steem and for some of you the few Steem now will be able to increase over the next year or two and can actually be something significant (including your own vote) to you later. I am tired of seeing shortsighted behaviour so, just add some to your SP, please.
For the 4 weeks you have the delegation, it is yours to do as you wish, I do not care other than some of you who have not been powering up at all, might want to start as it really is your future here. I will follow you all for at least the next four weeks and add a little value when I can but I make no promises
I have talked about community nodes many times before and I really do mean it. It doesn't take much to get this community working in a much healthier manner but, it does take something. This is not it but, perhaps it is a small step toward whatever it is.
Congratulations to the "winners" and I hope that you are all able to both increase your value and perhaps add a little to others.

Thank you :) I'm pretty pleased to be included in this - even if my comment was somewhat tongue in cheek, I was answering it with the context of taking the question literally.
every little bit helps of course, and every upvote helps, especially when it has a bit of SP behind it.
I do also think that steem has a big future - there might be some minor issues, but that is to be expected with something comes in that revolutionises the way things are done on the internet. We already have things like wordpress, medium, reddit, etc, that cover steem for functionality, albeit without the blockchain, but all of these are services where the host profits, and the content creators essentially donate their towards that profit.
When people talk about starting a business, we pretty much are by being here, just in the non traditional sense. It's a completely new type of business model, and that's why i'm excited to be involved. It's a completely new way of generating income.
When people look back on wealth generators, and feel that they wish they knew about it sooner - I feel that we are in that position right now - where we DO know about it sooner (though I wish i knew about it even sooner - but at least for once I'm not too late to the party)
I wish I had seen this. I would have said something delightfully sociopathic in a charming kind of way just to win, but in reality I would have felt too guilty to act on it if I had won, so it would have been like, being manipulative in a good kind of way?
