Well my coffee costs 15 Malaysian ringgit for a bag that makes me at least 30 cups of Joe so that's 12 cents a cup but i haven't ever even considered buying steem as the numbers speak for themselves and I find it crazy anyone would actually spend what I pay for my delicious Vietnamese drip coffee and buy a steem..

Securing a future position made me laugh though so I appreciate that 😂

The future position is very important. People aren't going to be able to afford 30 Steem and then they'll have to get creative if they want to use this blockchain (mostly RC pools). As a minnow you are in an extremely good position going forward.

That would be amazing and I'm not saying its impossible its just something that makes me giggle when I think about trying to explain to my wife that i am sitting pretty with a coin I made from blogging or trolling depending on my mood.. As it stands now my organic rewards barely covers the cost of a phone, my data, and electricity so that I can be a Minnow. And I'm only a Minnow because of 2 dudes..

A big mac meal here is about 50 steem

Yes mcdonaldization is funny as that exact same Big Mac meal doesn't even cost 30 steem here.. Gas is also only 50 cents a litre or 2 USD a gallon.. There is plenty in the world that's crazy and it begins to make sense when understanding the mechanisms n motivations of faith based economies.. Bitcoin climb 25% in a few days due to a rather generalised comment from the leader of China, steem is only tethered to the dips. That secure future where I buy everyone in the extended family a Big Mac with steem seems distant IMHO.

People don't realize the opportunity until it's gone. When the blockchain is filled to the brim with custom JSON and everyone is running out of RCs they'll finally get it... and then they'll pump their money in at the top and lose it all over again.

I think that once it catches on, people will force their way in. For a while the larger accounts will sell, but that will run dry too.
