When I say control means that they are moving the price of the Bitcoin up and down drastically or over days and months like they are doing to Bitcoin. The most altcoins tend to follow Bitcoin's movement. I am saying all these as a trader's view point and not so much as when a coin is forked.
Yes, I forgot about the futures market... also, how about Forext market $5 trillion a day traded everyday and the price manipulation going on with many fake moves by the market makers to trick the retail traders like me.

Yes banksters can manipulate markets...they proved that enough times over the years.
Something as small as the crypto market, only $350B, is nothing for them to move. Hell they move the gold market at will and that is $8.5T.
The futures markets being introduced in December really set the stage for manipulation.
