I agree with most of what you've posted here because I have gone through some of it and nothing is more unsettling like the experience that comes with it. The rest I have mixed emotions over it as this community is different for everyone.

The community is not actually a community, it is many. Often people try to be part of a greater whole that doesn't really exist as it is and likely always will be sectioned across interests and behaviours. Some people belong to many communities though so get the feel of a much more together operation.
