I appreciate that you highlight the fact that there are no direct transaction costs to sending money to someone. Especially when getting it to the 3rd world, this is very helpful.

I think you wrote a while ago about how aid groups in Africa are using retina scans to allow people to buy supplies. What if they used SBD? Then it would be even easier to get real world supplies from the Steem blockchain!

Imagine, instead of spending money to reach 50K through an ad, a company sends .001 to the same people.

This is exactly why we need a whitelist for wallet transactions. According to the Steemit guidelines, you're not supposed to use the wallet for advertisements, yet we see it often. It will get much worse if companies come in and start sending out mass transactions to people. The purpose of the wallet (keeping track of transactions) will have been hijacked by spammers. Hopefully this will get fixed before more mainstream companies get on board.
