my dad just went through this with my grandma. She had alzheimer's, and lived for several years without being able to do anything for herself. It was painful to watch her like that, but the all the family stepped up to help. It was great in that regard. It will happen to a lot of us at some point.

Thank you for sharing your family experience in this regard, and it is true that all or almost all of us will go through this stage if God allows it and if we add this type of illness, I only hope that my family will give me the support that is needed to live even though I am absent but with the love and attention needed until the Almighty decides, and I regret that loss of that being that you had in your family.
