As I mentioned on Twitter, it has a "Steemit Team" icon. which would not be easy to fake because the Steemit team controls Steemit.com code deploys. Also, you can check the transfer history on the account to see 100 steem directly from the Steem account with a welcome memo.
Ah, that Icon doesn't show up on SteemPeak. Been a long time since logging in to steemit.com

Hahah. Yes, but steemit.com features controlled by Steemit, inc employees do have relevance to this identification.
Or maybe it's a catfish account. Man... the days we spent fighting those. :)

At the end of the day if the website owner was going to sell, it might as well be to Justin Sun. People on steemit will come around as Justin shows the value he will add.
