RE: What do you hate about Steem/Steemit?

in #steem6 years ago

About Steem I hate the price.
Obviously since I have a stake in steem I wish the price was higher :D

But about steemit I hate how the community is falling apart in a way.
Seeing alot of negativity lately, back when I joined this platform (I guess like 2 years ago) I saw no negativity at all (At least none made it to me)

Our account ages are similar.
People are so focused on the money earning opportunity.
Many users are focusing on earning money in a selfish way by posting blog posts, and not caring about other people's blog posts. This results in a low amount of interaction, and in many disappointed users. Most of the users are highly affected by the price movements of Steem.
When the price of Steem go down, many users become disappointed, and many users even leave. When the price of Steem go up, many users suddenly become "optimistic" about Steem, and many users become active. If you mean "downvotes" by "negativity", then do not take it personally. There are accounts for the sole purpose of downvoting. Many people are getting downvotes. Including me.

No I don't mean downvotes by negativity

And also I consider myself to not interact with other peoples posts enough.
Tbh I just don't find enjoyable content on this website.

Firstly I am not really a person that likes to read, so that's already a big minus.
Secondly I just don't find the content I usually search for on steemit, there are no good gamers who make interesting content, there are no skit makers or vloggers that appeal to me.

If you know of any great content creators, then please let me know because the people I follow right now bring nothing of interest to my feed

Gamers? Vloggers? To be honest, I almost exclusively watch them on YouTube. Nowadays I do not use DTube. Mostly because my favorite content creators in these genres are on YouTube, and not on the Steem blockchain.

that's exactly why I don't interact with many steemians, because I'd like to interact with content I like to watch
