Today a colleague of mine described to another on a phenomenon in which a song listen is only monetised if the app user listens for more then 5 seconds. so now producers stress out the beginning of the song without respect for artistic composition. He said that it's sad. I remembered it as an example to how new technologies catch the market off guard and effect businesses culture. Even though the underlying matter (like the notion of currency) change very slowly. I feel it too- I think a lot about how I may have"missed out" by not joining steem earlier. But that a foolish idea, emotionally however I still desire a payout. And even though I know selling crypto for fiat is like moving to a fancier room on a sinking ocean liner... I might take YEARS for that change to happen. We live short term and long term. this is a thought provoking post- good job
