Für 4. Juli 2020 ist ein neuer Steem-Fork angekündigt worden. Blurt will den Zustand vor dem umstrittenen Steem-HF23 herstellen, der eine ganze Reihe von Steem-Accounts bestohlen hat.
Weitere Änderungen sind, dass es keine Downvotes mehr geben soll. Ups, wie soll die Bekämpfung von Missbrauch und Plagiaten ohne Downvotes oder Flags funktionieren? Weiters soll SBD abgeschafft werden. Einzig gute Änderung.
Blurt führt einen neuen zentralen Regenten-Account ein, der die Kontrolle und Governance der Chain übernehmen und nach zwei Jahren schrittweise wieder verschwinden soll.
Wie soll das funktionieren? Ist das wieder eine zentralisierte "Blockchain", die von einem einzigen Stakeholder (Justin Sun/Tron?) kontrolliert wird?
Was haltet ihr von Blurt? Was meint ihr, wer hat die Kontrolle über den Regenten-Account?

A new Steem fork has been announced for July 4th 2020. Blurt wants to establish the state before the controversial Steem HF23, which has stolen the assets of some Steemians as reported.
Other changes are that there should be no more downvotes. How can the community prevent abuse and plagiarism without downvotes or flags? And, SBD will be abolished. Only good change.
Blurt is introducing a new central regent account, which will take over the control and governance of the chain and is promised to gradually disappear after two years.
How's that gonna work? Is this again a centralized "blockchain" controlled by a single stakeholder (Justin Sun/Tron)?

According to @zkalemiss, a former manager from Steemit Inc could be behind the Hardfork, but still unclear how the genesis stake of JS/Tron is handled to prevent JS/Tron from controlling the entire blockchain after the regent account decays. Still just speculation. Not 100% sure who is behind the regent account.

I am not 100% sure but I think @birdinc which was the official Manager of Business Development at steemit.inc is behind the blurt chain. At this post he says that "they" are working to build and run the production blockchain code to prepare the hardfork of the 4th of July.
I don't think that Justin Sun has any relations with the new chain. I am coming to this conclusion from this post which is three months ago. Birdinc says that after the creation of hive blockchain, steem has died and he is happy for the early success of hive.
I like the fact that they will disable the downvote fanction. It is not right to decide what is abuse and what is not depending the money you have stake in the form of power. Poor users are getting downvotes for spam comments from users who use comment bots and they spam the same message thousand times everyday. Don't you think this is ironic?
About plagiarism the copyright owner can follow the legal path and sue the content thief like it happens in the rest of the internet.
We all know that the downvotes are not used only to fight abuse and plagiarism. Anyone can downvote a post he does not like the writter or want to hide its content for his own interest. If this is not censorship what is it?
How do you fight real abuse without downvote function? Let's say I have an account with a few million Coin Power and I upvote my own 10 spam posts every day. What can be done against something like that?
i don't know what can be done. But the user of the account with the million coin power, invested his money and can use his stake as he likes even if he wants to benefit only himself. If he can't harm others with his downvotes, it is fine for me. If this is abuse, circle voting can be considered abuse too. for example 10 users with huge coin power vote each other everyday, no matter the quality of the post the reward pool everyday gives the same coin to these 10 users? where is the difference? At least without the down vote function they cant harm poor users.
Also, this can attract new investors and push the price to the moon.
I am not a developer and I really don't know what can be done, but the current system is not so fair for the new users who are posting few times, and then they disappear.
Personally I enjoy the tipping system of whaleshares and golos.id maybe blurt will follow their example. who knows.
Die fehlende Downvote Funktion macht die Entscheidung für mich einfach, alles so schnell wie möglich zu verkaufen. Vorausgesetzt dass es überhaupt eine Möglichkeit geben wird zu verkaufen (Exchange Listings).
Aber interessant, höre gerade das erste mal von diesem Fork.
Genau, die fehlende Downvote-Funktion und der zentralisierte Regenten-Account sind für mich KO-Kriterien. Downvotes sind natürlich unpopulär, aber für die Balance des Systems absolut notwendig meiner Meinung nach.

Was passiert denn dann mit Steem. Noch ein HF und 2 Chains. Will Steemit.inc das wir wo weiter bloggen? Verstehe das mal wieder nicht!

Die meisten Mitarbeiter haben Steemit Inc nach der Tron-Übernahme verlassen, denke es ist, wenn die Vermutung stimmt, ein ehemaliger Mitarbeiter, der die Chain betreibt.
Aber es geht doch vom steemit.inc aus oder nicht?
Wir wissen es leider nicht genau, aber die Vermutung ist, dass der Fork von einem ehemaligen Mitarbeiter vorangetrieben wird, der mit dem Regenten-Account die volle Kontrolle der Chain übernehmen möchte. Oder es könnte auch Justin Sun oder die koreanische Community dahinter stecken, da Downvotes abgeschafft werden sollen. Eine Forderung, die in der Vergangenheit hauptsächlich von den Koreanern aufgestellt wurde.
Finde es sehr sehr spannend was da wieder passiert. Bin gespannt jeder HardFork bringt wieder neue Möglichkeiten mit sich. Aber ich denke schon dass es Sun mit seinen Leuten sein wird. Und wenn es so ist bin ich gespannt welche Chain dann überlebt. Ich glaube nicht dass drei existieren können. AN 2 glaube ich fest dran.

Puhh, schwere fragen. Keine SBD mehr denke ich mal auch das es eine gute Idee ist. Wer den Regenten-Account kontrollieren wird? Es würde mich sehr wundern, wenn es nicht Justin Sun/Tron ist, ob nun direkt oder indirekt.
Das ohne Downvots/ Flags kann ich mir nicht vorstellen, da es aber der einzige dezentrale Kontrollmechanismus ist, wundert mich es nicht, dass die Funktion verschwindet.
