RE: 100 Steem Giveaway - And a Personal Goal Achieved!

in #steem6 years ago (edited)

Hello @leotrap and congratulations to you on reaching level 70! I am on the cusp of reaching a milestone as well and it is a wonderful feeling! I agree with you about the value and importance of community. Life can feel quite isolating (especially here on steemit) without community.

I would like to nominate @naturalmedicine! This is a new (98 days old!) and growing community filled with warm and authentic people. @naturalmedicine makes a difference on steemit by encouraging people to share knowledge and support one another in the quest for a healthy mind, body and soul.

They've done amazing things too. A few that come to mind immediately are:

  • Encouraging people to share their stories and help one another when it comes to anxiety and mental health with the aim to de-stigmatize it. #Ihaveanxietytoo

  • Admins of this group have delegated SP to newer members that were struggling to comment, vote and engage due to having too few resource credits.

  • @naturalmedicine offers an enriching membership with, interview sessions, radio chat, member curation posts, bi-weekly contests, a wonderful repository of resources and information on discord, a curation trail, newsletter and so much more.

So much effort has gone into building this community and I'd love to see your support being part of helping this beautiful community grow even more!

(Oh and I almost forgot to mention ... coincidentally our last NM challenge asked us to answer a question: "what does community mean to you, and how does it help you thrive".

Congratulations @leotrap on both your milestone and your community minded invitation.

I strongly second @naturalmedicine as an incredible new community. In the true spirit of crypto and decentralization, it provides a phenomenal uncensored NEW platform for healers, wellness practitioners, herbalists, healthy people and for anyone wanting positive CHOICE. As a new community it has mobilized incredibly quickly and manages to curate and encourage a level of support that is exceptional.

@naturalmedicine is just gathering steam-steem :) and your support would enrich and enhance that. Steem will thrive only with increasing diverse content which engages more people across more interest levels, and as it remains relevant to people's real lives. @naturalmedicine fits that bill perfectly.

Really cool initiative @leotrap and congrats on your steem success!
I am a fairly new member of steemit, but found @naturalmedicine early on, and am so incredibly glad I did. The community is rich with knowledge, experts, hobbyists (who legit do their research and homework!) and just truly fascinating people with a vast range of talent and insight. The feeling of community is strong and its incredibly supportive of its members as well. As a plankton who's barely on the verge of minnow-dom, I've been truly blown away by how the entire community responds to those who need support, and help on the block chain.
@riverflows is an amazing admin and she never hesitates to take time to promote, support, and help make every single member shine their own light brighter.
Thanks @leotrap for the opportunity, and a huge thanks to @naturalmedicine for being an incredible community that I'm super proud to be a part of. 😊👍👏👏👏

yes yes yes! i couldn't agree more. @naturalmedicine is a wonderful community on steem and i am so glad that it exists to highlight and condense natural medicine on the steem blockchain. i love our community and would love to see it boosted in this way to help it grow to continue giving back and strengthening alternative medicine on the blockchain. congrats on your milestone @leotrap!

Thank you @walkerland for nominating this awesome little community. I whole heartedly support this nomination, because I know first hand that @naturalmedicine does great work. This community is actively working to create well being solutions and share awesome vibes while they are at it. It's inspiring stuff to read and write about!

Abso-bloody-lootly!!!!

The #naturalmedicine community has revitalised my love for all things natural and medicinal, having walked away from the profession almost a year ago now. I'm starting to lose my jaded perspective on it, because all the people who are part of this community are genuine, warm-hearted, caring healers in their own right.

Whether its healing with herbs, food, or movement, healing of the body, mind, soul, spirit or the earth, the members of this community care.

It's a truly remarkable group of folk. And I love them.

We're still only small, but like the natural world, we grow organically and in accordance with the seasons. And @walkerland has contributed some marvellous content from this space, and I fully and whole-heartedly support a delegation — talk about adding value to the blockchain!!!!!!!

@walkerland you are a fantastic member of @naturalmedicine!!! The knowledge and enthusiasm you bring to it are second to none. I love pur growing community and think it being a concrete value to the blockchain. I've especially been enjoying @thetreeoflife interview sessions and the radio chat... we are young but here to stay and support community in every possible way we can so 50 steem would be amazing and we will use it in our challenge giveaways!!!!
