Take a browse with me... Today we are walking around the neighborhood of Steemit.
It was a lovely day on the blockchain. A project we can all be proud of.
Screenshots, no words... Draw your own conclusions.
I hope you enjoyed our time on the blockchain today
@whatsup
One of these is very clearly not like the others. Using the excess purchasing power from high price of SBD to eliminate supply of Steem is a net gain for Steem holders.
Which one? I didn't make any judgment, ...
@burnpost is removing Steem from supply. Rather than reduce how much the network pays out to users this increases it in terms of SBD.
While agree clearly smooth is not being shady and there are benefits to what he is doing.
Another way to look at it is, he would rather burn steem then allow it to be distributed via our own distribution method.
(I get your point though, and it is a good one.)
Gladiator references from @whatsup! I am so enjoying our time on the blockchain today!
Do we get the Steemit we deserve? There's not much I can do about the money grabbers. They will just keep on getting richer. I'll continue to support those who deserve it more. I can make a small difference for them
I don't really look at the Trending Page, mostly because it makes me depressed. Knowing that there are people out there coining it bigtime with posts that aren't really worth voting for.
But this is the world we live in unfortunately. Not all posts on Trending suck ( in my opinion ), but I do feel that the majority of them are over voted. ( Is that even a term? )
There are those that don't deserve the payout they get, so I've come to realise I can either allow this to get the better of me and ruin my mood and day, or I can just move on to what I'm trying to do with my profile here.
There's not a whole lot I can do about what's going on there, so I see it as pointless to give it the power to ruin my day. ( This is just my opinion ).
I must constantly remind myself, "have fun on here" Joshua. Don't let the dollar signs overtake the reason why you're here. But also don't ignore them.
I'm upvoting this at 100%
At the time I made this post... I was feeling frustrated with the "Drain" more than the value of the posts. A lot of people just working for themselves and not the platform. What the heck?
I vented, chewed myself out and I have recovered.
You make a valid point though, if you hate the trending page and I do. Avoid it. :)
Wow, the @Haejin stuff is still going strong...unbelievable.
hahahahahahaahha! yeah, this doesn't look good does it. The trending page has always sucked...let's hope that communities solve this, but I am a realist too.
lol, yeah, the Trending Page battle has been on going since the beginning of SteemIt. :)
This made me cry a little tear. Its days like this that makes me glad I have a regular job.
Agreed! "Don't quit your day job". :)
lol
thats all look insane earn, how do they do it, buy vote from bots! like true power use or missuse!
Bread and circuses are all we need..wait, is that a fiddle I hear?
mmm....I want bread...
like super thick french bread. maybe with garlic. mmm....
oooh yeah..bring on the bread baby!
My cup runneth over.
its ridiculous that we have a trending section, but we dont have a section for new authors, or a section for established but new authors
thank you so much for share with us............../////////////
Enjoyed. Thank-you @whatsup, For The Mind-Freshing Post
yes, i enjoyed.
What is the call to action? I can see the concern. So many newcomers here seem to think it is all about mindless comments that show they didn't even read the post. Then the posts that are clearly meant to fill up the 10 post limit. I've been cleaning these folks out of my "following" list so my feed is not filled with drivel. What else can I do?
The call to action is to pay attention and invest accordingly.
what are you suggesting? i'm curious.
I'm suggesting we have a lot of sell pressure, especially with Dan powering down and EOS coming, lack of communication and the inability of the community to handle abuse/outliers that people consider their own risk tolerance and financial goals and invest accordingly.
I don't upvote anything I deem unworthy. I always upvote comments to my posts. Is that what you mean by investing wisely?
If one were to invest a lot of time or money, they should just be aware of what really does earn.
I anticipated that you would reply with that recommendation. I will have to study the rewards values and time frames. Thanks!
Yeah these users are going great
Yes, I entertained. Especialy haejin😁
Many of the comments to this post make your point!
Thanks for the tour :)
This post has received a 10.40 % upvote from @booster thanks to: @whatsup.
Has steemit gotten poor? When I joined steemit in June last year, I saw a post that made $15,000 and one that made $25,000.
Now some people are making few 💯 hundreds on their post and everybody is going crazy.
No post should earn 20.000 bucks unless its a formula to cure cancer.
It was obvious that people will try to outplay the system.
Question is do we hate the players or the game
You don't get to decide what the top value of a post should be. Cancer or not.
interesting post once again thanks for sharing your knowledge :)
wow man!!!
The question should be, do we hate the players or the game?
Yes I agree, there are plenty good bloggers here which deserve high rewards but its getting weird if a single guy has 2000 bucks for a single post, and makes plenty of these every day .
It seems like everyone is hunting for the quick buck and want to get as much Steem as long its worth something-- sooner or later it will crash if people realize that its not about your quality content rather than SP behind it.
I assume that if they would post some of these "articles" on another social platform they would be considered as spam and get blocked
ahh near to faint:)
I really enjoy it @whatsup, your post is good, I am happy to join in your blog, greetings from @ riska-amanda
Don't worry be happy ;)
