If you are participating on steemit are you not Investing? What is your time worth? How do you value your time? Is time not one of the most precious if not most precious investments? Think about it for a moment.
I caught myself today sharing with others about "investments" within the cryptospace and I realized that I didn't even mention STEEM. Granted I was communicating on Steemit here.
I had a conversation yesterday on steemit and the indiviudal I spoke with didn't think that "investment" and or "investors" was that important to Steem and Steemit. I found this way of thinking to be a bit perplexing. From my perspective you can't not be an investor. We are always investing/voting with our decisions...our directions as how we allocate our time/focus/attention.
I had a conversation recently.. again, here on steemit.., and I received some cool wisdom. To paraphrase: "Big goals are Great because you need a lot of time for them." This is pure genius - it's an outlook that really can support in taking the time to cultivate, grow and create our Best Plays
I had another conversation with a fellow steemian today about "mind set"...specifically the "poverty mind set"...the never enough mentality and the police state mentality of too many rules and laws....to much emphasis on 'bad actors'. From my perspective, "bad actors" are mostly a symptom of inferior education. missed opportunity and Access to resources.
Let me say that last bit again...and let's really think about it:
"bad actors" are mostly a symptom of inferior education, missed opportunity and access to resources."
Example:
Most crime that exists is a result of "money" ...which is a symptom of inferior education and access to resources. When Education/Technology/Money is freely available - the rates of crime drop off almost completely.
Solution:
Steem Blockchain showcases a powerful opportunity here as, "Education/Technology/Money" that is freely available.
The mentality of: Only some people deserve to be "privileged", "rewarded", "regarded", "valued" is a very limiting way of thinking and living.
The Greatest Networking Effects include the greatest considerations, regards, planning, foresight and inclusion. It's kind of funny how it's so ingrained within human consciousness to "police ourselves"...it's kind of ironic that our world is very much a "police state"...because almost everyone is a "police man" in their head/mind/thinking...and it's brutal.
I open up my sharing today, to paint the beginning of a picture: STEEM is a Powerful Investment that's potential is not currently fully known, valued or realized. There are a number of great speculators who are mathematical wizards who've done some great work on forecasting the upside potential here.
This post was about making sense of things in my mind and thinking...to create clarity on the ways in which i see things.
I think there needs to be more emphasis on recruitment of people here - in a way that this is the place...this is the social network...this is a world wide network, It is free to exchange money anywhere in the world. Your account balance grows every day. There's new apps being created all the time. Basically you get paid every time you use the network. The network is for absolutely everybody. There's no good and bad actors per se...the network is the new way of "Communications"...and everyone has a voice here...and is rewarded for their communications. The best ideas are developped...because the best people always develop their ideas...and this patform encourages creative collaboration. Everyone is recognized as a creative collaborator. Some need to get comfortable before they open up. Some are already strong nexus's. There is great wisdom in the group. The platform can accommodate a lot. This could be a way of re-creating how we value people...how we structure money/education/technology.....how we live on planet earth.

We are the Question, Answer, and Solution :)
STEEM ON!
That I agree upon !
@worldclassplayer, we are at an interesting point in history. We are seeing unprecedented changes in technology, investments, medicine, etc.
Unfortunately, we are also seeing the decay of a society. We don't value life. We don't value community. We don't value opinions that are different that our own.
One reason why I like the realm of Steemit that I have found is because I can value others who are different from me and live in community with them.
We should be willing to invest in Steemit, because if we don't then later on there will not be anything left worth fighting for.
Awesome
YES
That's true as people seem to trade it quickly just like a dollar and keep swinging back and forth in the price range of one and two dollars
There really is an exponential relation between how much time we invest on the platform and how much we get back as reward.
We should be devoting ourselves in finding our own network, communicating with like minded people instead of looking how much somebody else is making.
We are here today and if we continue doing the right thing, we will also be there.
Then what will happen? We will also form part of the complaints other people are making?

I feel like some people are just here for short term. They generate money, get it all paid out when they receive their payout and continue posting.
I actually find that quite surprising. If you simply power up your rewards, then maybe in a couple of months you can generate more rewards for yourself just because you have a bigger share on the platform.
I really do think that in the long run, Steemit can become very valuable but simply because people think, "I need the money now", a lot of money leaves the economy.
It's a bit of a tough catch 22 - short term needs in conflict with long term needs. It's a definite discipline to exercise patience :)
Steem On
in short your post is just awesome
wow amazing post @worldclassplayer
if you can visit to my post
I really didn't until right now, thanks for the brain food.
To be honest, I'm not sure how to see it. I don't invest money on steemit, but I put time on it. I put time on my poems and posts, on my novels and short stories.
But, at the same time I wonder if I could've have written so much in the past year if it wasn't for the steem incentive that I had.
And if it is an investment, it really paid off until now. And I think it will continue to do.
