Say what you will about Shapeshift.io .. mmm.. not sure there is anything bad to say about them .. but anyway, what they offer is a slick and speedy, user-friendly experience, where anyone with Bitcoin, or many other alternative coins, sitting anywhere on the Intertubes, can easily and in 2 easy steps, turn it into STEEM sitting in their STEEMIT account. NICE!
However, how many Facebook Soccer Moms have Quatloo sitting in a long forgotten exchange account out there? Can count them on our hands and toes, that's how many!!

I have no idea why we can't rig something like this up and accept credit cards and PayPal, direct to STEEM! Come on now .. f*** the regulations, do it first and deal with the gumshoes later! The new users will flood in!
I can say this is true. Whatever STEEM I have, I had to ask my boyfriend (@kurtbeil) to get for me. This send BTC to dialog is not functional - it is too confusing to be trusted. :)
