Hy people. If you are like me and you have been having issues on how you can convert your steem to steem dollars, search no more as RESEARCH has come to the rescue. So i stayed up last night going through my profile (blog), to understand every nook and cranny of my steemit page, I opened a profile with steemit late November last year, and have been inactive since i opened it. How I manged to arrive at 189 followers? I cannot explain, made my first post last month but its reflecting that i have 16 posts! How? Then i got to the wallet section and there i got stuck as to what to or what not to do, remember i don't want to loose my account!
Anyways, how to convert your steem to steem dollars!! (drumrolllllllllll please!)
There is this magnificent trading platform where you exchange digital currencies and its called BLOCK TRADE. so what you want to do is sign up at https://blocktrades.us/
Signing up is freaking easy, once you do that, go ahead and Log In.
It will take you to a new screen, one one side (sender) fill in STEEM and on the other side (receiver) fill in STEEM DOLLAR
In the receiver address, don't bother filling in your memo, just fill in your STEEMIT USERNAME. Then you click on get deposit address, after that you'll see you depositing address that looks like a serial number.
You should copy the username and memo and go to your wallet section in your STEEMIT profile, and transfer your STEEM to the BLOCKTRADE account almost immediately you will receive your STEEM dollars.
