Steem Ambassadors are respected, trusted and upstanding members of the Promo-Steem community who have a proven track record in the execution of highly effective promotional work for Steemit and the Steem blockchain.
In order to ensure that we use as decentralized a model as possible to appoint Steem Ambassadors and that the appointments take into account the views of the community, we propose to employ a step by step community applcation and community approval process. Steemit users wishing to become Steem Ambassadors may apply and will be accepted / rejected by the Steemit community using the following step by step process:
1) Steem Ambassador Responsibilities
A clear outline of expectations for how Steem Ambassadors support and continuously add value to the community has been clarified in our blog HERE, Potential Steem Ambassadors should have read, understood and agree to follow the Steem Ambassador Responsibilities and Guildelines prior to making their Steem-Ambassador Application.
2) Steem Ambassador Applications
Details of the Steem Ambassador application can be found at our website HERE.
In order to become a Steem Ambassador the prospective Steemit user shall apply by publishing a blog entitled “My Steem Ambassador Application”. This blog shall be tagged with #ambassadorapplication and #promo-steem.
The blog shall include the following content as a minimum:
- Photos / video of the applicant promoting Steem / Steemit
- Previous promotional experience (if any)
- Your story and achievements as a Steem/Steemit promoter so far
- Why you promote Steem / Steemit
- What are the reasons you want to become a Steem Ambassador
- What are your future Plans as a Steem Ambassador
- Pledge to follow the Steem Ambassador Responsibilites and Guidelines outlined HERE
3) Application Review Process
The Promo-steem team shall review the applications. The applications are socred based on the following critria:
- Previous Promotional Experience
- Story / Achievements on Steemit
- Why you Promote
- Reasons for being a Steem Ambassador
- Future Plans with Steem
4) Successful Applicant Proposal Blog
Each successful applicant shall be proposed to the community via a blog from the @steem-ambassador account on steemit.com.
Each successful ambassador should have at least one other steemian's endorsement in the comments of the blog
If there are zero objections to the applicant in the comments of the proposal blog after 7 days, then the applicant is successful and automatically becomes a Steem Ambassador!! The applicant's username shall then be added to the promo-steem curation guild list of Ambassadors, giving the ambassador influence in the up vote of the @steem-ambassador voting guild.
Any objection shall have a reason backed up with clear evidence as to why the objection is valid and the candidate should not be give the title of Steem Ambassador.
How to support #Promo-Steem
If you like the work of #promo-steem and want to support to help grow our steemit community, we have set up a great system leveraging the steem blockchain to support promoters, here are a few things you can do to support the voluntaryist promoters who are out there working hard to promote our wonderful steemit platform, which in turn, raises the the value of all of our STEEM and improves the quality of peoples lives immensely for doing valuable work:
Join the https://steemauto.com/ curation trail for @steem-ambassador - Add a bit of your voting power to reward promoters!
Delegate SP to @steem-ambassador - If you have the means, please consider delegating some Steem Power so we can incentivise promotional work. All curation rewards that @steem-ambassador earns will be returned to the delegator each quater based on their share of the overall delegation, so this is an active investment too!
Follow our work, and get involved - Watch out for upcoming @steem-ambassador posts and give your approval to the Steem Ambassadors coming online.

We will be releasing community guidelines soon on the use of this. Make sure you read for future use. Basically, the #promo-steem tag should only be used for promotional activity. Don't use it just to get an upvote (it won't work).

i think i am most undervalued steemian promoting steem, last twitter campaign i did, we made a result and achievements of about 685,202 Impressions...... but the steemit community over looked our results, bit anyways kindly join us as we hype and campaign steemit on Twitter March 5th, with the hashtag #SteemitLife. thanks
