I am back watching this movie again, like I said before, it's my favorite Rocky movie, I do believe Apollo Creed over exerted himself with the performance he put on before his fight with the Russian 
but I think we was all happy when he was able to land that powerful punch, remember the announcer yelling "he's cut"
, that's all it took for Rocky to know that the Russian wasn't a machine, but someone who could be hurt. The rest is history, Ricky defeated the Russian and the crowd rejoice.
