We all know somebody on Steemit who is not getting the recognition they deserve as an author/valuable contributor to the SteemIt Community. That someone might even be you!
Maybe there is something you have worked on tirelessly only to see it "Flop" and go "Poof" in the face of Whale and Bot Upvoting Trends? Have a dead post? Know somebody BadAss on here who is going un-recognised?

Starting every Tuesday Evening @pierce-the-veil & @teruneo will open the running for the Top Three Best Submitted "Dead Posts".
Results will be reviewed every Friday thereafter, and the Winners will be posted on Saturday in a Special Weekly Announcement that we have dubbed "The Undertaker Awards"
The idea is to help those struggling up and comers get visibility and following for their profile, regardless who wins.
Also, just because a post is dead does not preclude comments from making money.
We expect that it will generate a buzz on the reviewed posts, generate visibility for users in the comments section of our post, and additionally; boost popularity in case the "dead post" starts trending for a 30 Day review.
There are a lot of users feeling disenfranchised by the current state of affairs surrounding voting trends and post visibility. The consensus is that it is getting harder to trust who is in it for valuable contributions to the community, and who are shitty assholes using steemit as a platform to make money off scam or plagarized posts.
Good News? Its ok. We got this. The best and brightest of us are banding together in action. Whale recognition or not.
For example: Check out the "Daily Downvote" hosted by steemit user @xvickx, who has started the closest thing to daily "Banhammering" that we could find.
