Grace and peace, dear reader! This article makes a simple request: If you have found the verse that is written above, a fragment of the Bible, read again please, Well, if you have read and remained indifferent, read one more time. Do not give up reading until you feel something different, something unique! Emphasizing better, read until you feel within your soul a screaming will to be, as well as Abraham, FRIEND of God!
In a search in the dictionary, I found the following meanings for the word "friend": "Person to whom one is bound by reciprocal affection: keep, visit friends". Friend is not the one who is only close to you, but is the one who feels pleasure in you. Friend is one who can clearly perceive the trust and respect it has for you; Friend is he who honors; Friend is one who encourages; Friend is one who, instead of hiding him, shows him the correct path to follow. Friend is that!
Many times it was sometimes that I complained about my friends. He was murmuring! But the Lord bothered me with the following question:
"Are you for me, the friend you want others to be with you?"
And I share the question that the Lord made me with you ... And there? Who are in front of God? How are they behaving? As a servant, or as a friend? The word of God says in the book of John, (chapter 15, verse 15) that we are no longer servants, but friends of the Lord. Servant is one who only does what his master commands. There is no intimacy in the relationship between servant and master. There is no fellowship, there is no LOVE! It is something distant, without life.
How has our relationship with our Father been? How have we walked? For pleasure, or for religiosity?
That trap is capturing many Christians, and we have to open our eyes, not to be victims of Satan's cunning! Being a friend of God is our strength and our refuge, in the moments of fury of the storms of our lives!

Everything that God did and does in relation to humanity shows how willing he is to be a Friend of each of us, but human beings are not so willing to be friends with God.
