THE SECRET TO THE ANOINTING
John 3:34
For the one whom GOD has sent speaks the Words of GOD, for GOD gives the Spirit without limit
Many Christians desire to be very anointed to heal the sick, cast out demons, trample on snakes and scorpions, raise the dead, prophesy, and work many miracles. It is the will of GOD that you will be anointed to do even greater works than what JESUS did
(John 14:12).
The truth of the matter is that, GOD doesn't give HIS anointing to those who do nothing for the Kingdom (Idle people).Before JESUS began HIS ministry on earth, we never heard of any miracle worked by HIM. Until you move out there and begin to proclaim the message about the resurrected CHRIST, you will always wish to be anointed but it will be in vain.
GOD has many ways by which HE releases HIS anointing on HIS people; by prayer, fasting, laying of hands, etc, but the surest way to sustain and grow your anointing is to preach the Gospel or serve the Kingdom
In Acts 4:31 the Bible says the apostles were filled with the HOLY SPIRIT and they spoke the Word of GOD boldly. The result of this bold proclamation of the Word is what we see in Acts 5:15 where the shadow of Peter was healing the sick which we did not see in the ministry of JESUS. I pray that as from today, GOD will release on you the anointing without measure to do HIS work in the Name of JESUS.
The SPIRIT of the LORD is upon ME, because HE has anointed ME to preach the Gospel...(Lk 4:18)
amen, it's like that. and he will not put his anointing on those who do not have a clean heart before Him
