Greetings friends and brothers of Steemchurch, in the last days there was much talk here in the first church of Blockchaim about the leadership and, considering that it is an important issue, I also want to give my contribution according to the biblical teaching that I received in the Church where I met the Lord in the city of Maracay "Blessed be the blessing".
A good leader must know how to use his hands to the head and the heart. Hands mean being active, the head being thoughtful and the heart being sensitive.
The lesson given by Jesus in chapters 6 through 8 of Mark explains it. Jesus begins performing great miracles and using his disciples to do these signs, showing them his power through five loaves and two fish a great miracle happened to teach God's sufficiency over human lack, however the disciples did not understand that Jesus did not He spoke of bread or material hunger, but of heart and spiritual lack.
How to cure leadership?
Some teachings of Jesus about healthy leadership.
Hands> Attitude:
After the second multiplication of loaves and fishes, the disciples seemed to be accustomed to the Master's provision and no one cared to carry the loaves that were left over. Maybe it was that I would take them to the other and only one had the bread with them, which could be supposed to be enough for Jesus to multiply again. The disciples looked at each other's hands and saw that they had forgotten to bring bread. But Jesus taught them that leadership is marked by attitudes and opinions not just as the Pharisees did.
People look at the leader's hands and see what he is doing. The character of the leader is observed by everyone, that is why he needs to work on his character, being humble, asking for help and improving every day. Conquering the confidence of its leaders leads the leader to be competent in what he does in his relationships, in service and in administration. Some actions such as being punctual, keeping promises, concluding what started, being kind and generous saying a simple 'please' and 'thank you', spending time with people, acts that conquer people.
The character of the leader confirms his authority. People need to feel the presence of Jesus in the leader's life. Through what the leader does he conquers authority. By the way of acting, working, conversing, planning and organizing, over time the authority is being established.
Be a proactive leader!
Head> INTELLIGENCE:
Jesus did a math test with his disciples, testing his intellectual ability to understand what he was doing. The numbers of the loaves, the people and the remains of the two multiplications were requested. Thus, Jesus teaches that leadership must be aware of everything that happens. A leader has to see, hear and remember things, in addition to being understanding, trying to take advantage of the construction of all.
The mind of a leader needs to be renewed to exercise intelligent leadership. A deficit mentality can not recognize the sin that undermines the spiritual life and limits the vision of the Kingdom of God. An abundant mentality must be sought by leaders much more than the success in the accomplishment of programming. The dependence of Christ alone for everything is the main basis and sustenance of a person with abundant mentality. This broad vision of success becomes only a consequence of living with Christ and thus everything turns to the glory of God.
Be a smart leader!
Heart> SENSITIVITY:
Jesus asked his disciples, "Have you hardened your heart?" . It would be pointless to see so many miracles and not be sensitive to the power of God. Therefore, the Master wanted to wake them up to feel what was happening. Jesus conquered his disciples because he spoke to his heart and he also knew what was happening in his emotions.
A big risk that affects many leaders is the hardening of the heart, as a disease that prevents you from feeling and being frustrated. The symptoms are known when the leader comes to trust in their resources and opinions rather than depending on God.
The leader's disease can be discovered by not using the heart and the symptoms are four:
a) DO CAREER marked by ambition and shame competition. This happened to the disciples when they competed who would be the first in the kingdom of heaven.
b) AUTHORITARIAN, the blatant use of power. A temptation for the leader in his decisions and desire to be the best as the disciples who asked him to sit on the right and on the left the kingdom of heaven.
c) ARROGANCE insensitive, as before the dinner did not seem disciples to understand or be concerned about the meaning of what was done with such pain by the teacher. So also the leader with hardened heart many times does not feel sorry for crucial moments of his ministry.
d) Blind TRUST, as Peter trusted you, not to deliver Jesus, also the leader who is based on his will and opinion denies Christ even though he does not see what he is doing so serious.
This lesson shows leaders who, while seeing the wonders of God, are susceptible to the hardening of the heart, if they do not perceive their divine dependence on the challenges of life.
Be a sensitive leader!
How could a leader want people to have an attitude if he himself does not act as an example? How would leaders be understanding if leadership is not smart? How to sensitize people if the leader is insensitive? Therefore, a healthy leadership is marked by active hands, abundant mentality and sensitive heart.
Mark to write the Gospel taught persecuted Christians in Rome to trust in Jesus, even if you need to face the cross, but believe in the resurrection. This is the remedy to cure the hardness of the leader's heart. Facing the cross leads to believe in eternal life in Christ and not trusting in yourself. Before the cross we are impotent and we only need to depend on the power of God.
