What is wisdom? Wisdom is the application of knowledge. It is also the quality of being wise,it can also mean the ability to know what is true or right,common sense or the collection of one's knowledge.
The truth is that God gives wisdom and He gives to those who wants and crave for it. The Bible made it clear in Proverbs 2:6 that, "For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding." Any wisdom apart from God is a devilish one. As God is wise,so also is Satan but his own is to destroy and damage things. Once Satan uses his tricks that he called wisdom to ruin someone's life,it can never be repaired unless for divine intervention. That is why it is good to always seek God's wisdom in all things. Even in Proverbs 4:7, it says, "Wisdom is the principal thing;therefore get wisdom:and with all thy getting get understanding" When as a believer get wisdom from God,you see yourself honoured and praised. God never give wisdom to anybody but those that prayed for it.
As a believer,if you are not careful,Satan will only trick you and you will think it is your wisdom but only to find out that he only wants to ruin you and all you have. There are two examples of wisdom; The godly and ungodly wisdom. The godly wisdom is from God and He giveth to those who ask for it. An example of it is found in 1Kings chapter 3, Solomon walked in the path of God and loved Him just as his father David did and God was pleased with him because he sacrificed to the LORD in thousands. Then God appeared to him and gave him a blank cheque to ask whatever he wants from Him. Solomon was made king and doesn't have the experience of leading the people, so he told God to give him an "Understanding heart" which is wisdom and God granted him his desire even gave him what he never ask for. The first action he performed with the wisdom of God was found in chapter 3:16-28 where he judged two women in the right way (wisely). All the people were so happy for this kind of wisdom he used for the women.
An example of ungodly wisdom was the one Satan used to make Adam and Eve disobeyed God. He tricks them by allowing them eat the forbidden fruit and God was so angry with them and chase them out of the beautiful garden of Eden (Genesis 3). We must all wait and pray to God for wisdom because a person who is wise will do his things in the right way. No one is to tell what to do at the right time because you will know when things should come up. A servant who is wise in all things will make his boss love and cherish him even his wages will be given to him at the right time. In society, when you use the wisdom God has given to you to make things better or settle something among them,you will be chosen and appreciated.

There will be deliverance from the enemies
Guidance in all steps
These benefits can be yours if you embrace wisdom by asking from God
every day when I lay down gold to God to ask for wisdom.

God is the author of wisdom and who ever seeks wisdom should go tO God. He said in His word that if anyone lacks wisdom, let him ask of the Lord who gives generously......!
